Community Support Worker - Respite or Community Habilitation
To provide Respite, and/or Community Habilitation services necessary to enable the individual to live successfully in the community, develop those skills, habits, and attitudes essential for successful community integration; providing respite to the primary care and support providers .
- High school diploma/equivalent preferred, appropriate education/experience considered.
CPR/First Aid Certification, agency/individual specific training to provide appropriate services.
Valid New York State driver's license acceptable to Agency Insurance standards (valid Insurance card if using own vehicle).
Knowledge, skills and abilities to provide required services.
Effective, positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, organizational skills, reliability in decision making.
Computer skills preferred.
