Josh is an independent young man who has an affinity for graphic design. Two years ago, Josh graduated from Mountain Lake Academy in Lake Placid, NY. His goal after graduation; go to college.

With the support of AIM Services, Josh enrolled at SUNY Adirondack. SUNY Adirondack has an advisor to guide course selection for individuals with disabilities; and working with AIM Services, Josh started a class in his passion Graphic Design, and the other in English.

Josh was able to complete all the coursework on his own and passed both classes with high marks. All he needed is the support of staff to encourage his goals.

Josh is a pioneer at AIM Services, as one of the first to enroll in AIM’s Day Habilitation without Walls; he has demonstrated the effectiveness of the program.

The program supports individuals with assistance getting to classes, completing assignments, and studying for tests. Josh is currently enrolled in his second semester, and looking forward to getting his degree. Encouraged by his success, two other individuals AIM Services supports are also currently taking classes.
