This service is goal-driven and meant to enhance your or your loved one’s independence through building skills based on personal interests and needs, and encouraging involvement in the community. It is typically a one-on-one service, but can be delivered as a group. This service is more individualized compared to the group-based setting of Day Habilitation
Goals can include, but are not limited to:
- Increasing independence
- Learning to cook
- Budgeting
- Learning local resources
- Getting a driver’s license
- Building social capital in the community
- Travel safety
This service can be delivered to people living at home in the community, as well as those living in Residential Settings.
